Once Upon a Time... Duo Marriage Story

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a Princess? “Will you marry me?”

The Princess said yes and they lived happily ever after… Is the ending I want for this story.

But before the Princess said yes, and before the Prince asked the Princess to marry him, there were the disagreements, the fights, and a whole lot of make-up kisses.

They were first introduced to each other by their awesome couple manager at Duo.

However, their first date didn’t go too well.

Princess wasn’t attracted to him and wasn’t very impressed by Prince charming.

But Prince charming thought otherwise.  He liked that they come from similar backgrounds. He also thought that 4 years of age difference was perfect.

He felt that he can change the Princess’s mind and tried his best to win her heart over.

He sent text messages and called her every day.  He put in his best effort to win her over by finding out her favorite things.

In no time, the Princess started developing feelings for the Prince.

However, they’re only humans and differences were inevitable.

They argued and fought over small, petty things.  She got mad at the way he was driving. He got mad at her for looking into his notebook.  Every time they fought, they called their couple manager at Duo to vent and ask to receive other candidates’ profiles.   As their couple manager, I listened and did my best to help them in any way possible.  

Sometimes, I was on the phone for an hour listening to what they argued about.  But at the end, Prince charming loved her so much that he would go over to her place with flowers in his hand to make up.

Then one day, my phone rang. It was from Prince charming. My heart sank. It’s been awhile since his last call to vent about their fight so I suspected it was another argument.

I was wrong.

He called to let me know that he proposed and that she said yes.

They’ll be getting married in a beautiful church in the month of June.

I was so happy to hear such great news!

I asked Princess what she liked about her Prince charming.  She said his persistence and effort really showed in their relationship.  Also, the fact that his family truly welcomed her into the family was a plus.

Duo wishes them a happily ever after…!
